The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, Namibia is a longstanding partner organisation of INTERTEAM and is committed to deliver an equitable and inclusive education for all children and adolescents.



As a part of the INTERTEAM Country Programme Namibia we contribute significantly to a better education for all children and adolescents. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with Directorates of Education in different regions, for example in Kavango East in the North of Namibia. One approach is to capacitate its middle management on goal-oriented planning, implementing the budget and managing the allocated funds. That is why we are looking for a professional, who is able to conduct the following tasks:

  • Capacity building on annual work planning, budget preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Provide mentorship on an efficient and effective management of resources
  • Support the implementation of proper financial management and administration
  • Plan, organize and conduct in-service training workshops on simple planning software (MS Office), execution of plans and monitoring the adherence to the State Finance Act, its regulations and the treasury instruction


General requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies
  • Min. 2 years of professional working experience
  • Minimum age of 26 years
  • Domicile in Switzerland
  • Good physical and mental health
  • High level of social and self-competence
  • Intercultural sensitivity
  • Interest in development policy and social conditions
  • Willingness to an adapted life style


Specific requirements:

  • Degree in business administration with focus in finance and strategic management
  • Work experience in financial administration and management as well as strategic planning
  • Experience in training of trainers, workshop facilitation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Very good knowledge of written and oral English
